William Duggie (owner of Loch Ness Landscapes) has been head greenkeeper & carer of the green since 1995.

Loch Ness Landscapes are proud to confirm that we now also have the contract to care for the green at Highland Bowling Club.
 
 

 

THE PLAYING SURFACE

 

Despite the outdoor bowling season only lasting from Spring to October the green has to be professionaly cared for 12 months of the year.

 

As many gardiners will testify keeping a lawn green through the summer months is a skill in itself. Loch Ness Landscapes have to keep the playing surface healthy despite the hieght of cut that the grass is cut to being about 3mm for several months.
